
Mary-Ellen Nesi - Farnace
Acclaimed
interpreter of baroque operas, Ms Nesi has performed more than 35 principal and
title roles in operas by Monteverdi, Handel, Vivaldi, A. Scarlatti, Pergolesi,
Gluck, Paisiello, Mozart, Rossini, Bizet, Donizetti, Bellini, R. Strauss, Verdi,
Humperdinck, Mascagni and contemporary composers.
Ms. Nesi has performed with: Montreal Symphony Orchestra/Charles Dutoit;
Complesso Barocco/Alan Curtis; Accademia Bizantina/Ottavio Dantone; Bayerisches
Staatsorchester/Ivor Bolton; Ensemble Matheus/J-Chr. Spinosi; Washington Bach
Consort/J.Reilly Lewis; Venice Baroque Orchestra/Andrea Marcon;
Barocchisti/Diego Fasolis; Folies Francoises/P.Cohen Akenine; Ensemble
Orchestral de Paris/J.Swensen; Al Ayre Espanol/E.Lopez Banzo; RTV Orchestra of
Spain/M-A Gomez-Martinez; Camerata Stuttgart and all major Greek orchestras. She
regularly collaborates with the Greek National Opera and performers in major
musical institutions of Europe and America such as the Carnegie Hall, the
Théâtre de Champs-Elysées, the Bayerische Staatsoper in Munich, the Theater an
der Wien, the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, the Teatro de la Maestranza in
Seville. She has just released her first solo album for Deutsche Harmonia Mundi:
a collection of Salve Regina by various Neapolitan composers of the eighteenth
century with Alan Curtis and Il Complesso Barocco.

Loriana Castellano - Tamiri
Winner of the A. Belli Competition 2010 in Spoleto and Toti dal Monte
Competition in Treviso in 2012, she studied the Baroque repertoire with Edward
Smith and Sara Mingardo at the Cappella della Pietà dai Turchini in Naples.
Among her recent performances: Handel’s Alcina (Bradamante) with Le
Parlement de Musique de Strasbourg and Martin Gester; Myslivecek’s Medonte
with L’Arte del Mondo led and Werner Ehrhardt (recorded for Sony/DHM); Vivaldi’s
Juditha Triumphans (Abra) in Braunschweig and Beaune with Modo Antiquo
and Federico Maria Sardelli; Stravinsky’s Pulcinella with the Netherlands
Radio Chamber Orchestra conducted by Thierry Fischer in Utrecht; Catone in
Utica at the Teatro an der Wien again with F.M.Sardelli, and more recently
La Cenerentola (role title) in
São Paulo
,
Il Matrimonio Segreto (Fidalma) in Treviso and Ferrara, La Traviata
at the Opéra de Monte Carlo under Marco Armiliato.
Future plans

Roberta Mameli - Gilade
A
Specialist of Baroque music, she has a repertoire that goes up to the twentieth
century. Among her recent performances, it is worth mentioning: Handel’s
Athalia (Josabeth) with Capella Cracoviensis and Paul Goodwin in Krakow;
Vivaldi’s Teuzzone (Cino) with Le Concert de Nations and Jordi Savall in
Versailles (recorded for Naïve); Il Novello Giasone (Isifile) by
Cavalli/Stradella at the Festival della Valle d’Itria in Martina Franca;
Mozart’s Requiem under Christopher Hogwood at the Anima Mundi Festival in
Pisa; Così fan tutte (Dorabella) under Ryo Terakado in Tokyo;
Handel’s Deidamia (Nerea) in Vienna and in Braunschweig, Handel’s
Ariodante (Ginevra) in Turin and Bucharest, Handel’s Orlando
(Angelica) in Versailles, all of them with Il Complesso Barocco and Alan Curtis;
Handel’s Agrippina (Poppea) and Vivaldi’s Orlando Furioso (1714)
(world premiere) at the Festival de Beaune with Modo Antiquo and Sardelli;
concerts with La Venexiana in Halle (Händelfestspiele), Gdańsk, Wroclaw, Krakow,
Espinho, Korkyra and Bologna. In the season 2012/2013 she is successfully
singing a whole run of performances of Agrippina (Poppea) at the Kiel
Opera, under Ruben Dubrovsky. Future
